I think the over reaction comment was probably aimed at those who come on when we lose and predict doom, but don't come on at all when we win. They then devalue the wins by decrying them as being against poor teams the next time we lose. Equally there are those (not as many) who become overly positive when we win.

The truth as ever is somewhere in between. We have to get better at a number of things. Might be time to shake up the halves a bit with Miller sat on the sidelines. Interesting selections for next week. Didn't sound to me like Feka or Carvs were close today.

I'm afraid that isn't good enough and as far as I can see has proven pretty costly today. Clearly he isn't the only player who made an error but if the performance level isn't there then Radford has to act. He's classy with ball in hand but vulnerable in defence no question.

Judged after 5 games...I would say we are 2 pts behind where we should be....Wigan didn't beat Cas either...are they going to be knocking round mid-table.

Lets be honest about it,radford the new peter gentle in whom we trust,hull have played 5 and won 2 games,at home to the cats and home to bradford which for me is to be expected.Not a great start for the new coach and a lack of discipline remains,but its a long season and have a couple of winnable matches coming up.

Miller has to get the nod against Widnes. Horne and Heremaia didnt create enough chances and seem to panic again. Thought Rankin looked dangerous at 1 the few times he got the ball, as i've said for a while Shaul is great in open play but when we use our 1 as a pivot our play just stops when he gets the ball.

Fair play to Cas, the better team just about. Really impressed with the pack.

Most of the people posting on here early on weren't at the match, mate. I don't know if you've ever listened to Radio Humberside but getting a proper picture of the game from their commentary is impossible. Once folk who went start posting you'll get better informed comments.

First time this season I've used the phrase 'that was just like last season'.

We used Westerman as a battering ram mainly, Shaul just can't link play and Crooks had a nightmare. Half backs couldn't create and the pack was depleted and struggled. I know you can use the excuse that it's difficult for halves ebbing a beaten pack, but even when we were on the front foot they were poor.

Positives were Talanoa & Thompson, who I thought was very good in the front row.

this my view has a Cas fan you won the middle pitch battle and defence but when it came to the final third you was shut down by good defending by us. But we was prepaid to keep moving the ball out wide playing on Crookes which in the end paid off. In 5 games we played you was the best by far.

If Talanoa scored from the intercept in the first half i reckon we would have gone on to win as it would have been 18-6. All ifs n buts now i suppose.
