i like lauaki but we dont get the best out of him and is a lot better backrow then prop just my opion of course but losing moa would be dissapointing, if true then we need 2 new props for next season and a backrower

You get that impression. Even last night when the ball went free he was stood looking at it and only seemed to jolt out of his trance when one of our other players who was in the original tackle picked it up.

(Something like that at least, i was more surprised that he just stood like a rabbit in the headlights)

If there is something we have all became aware of since he signed, it is that he isnt the sharpest tool in the box

theres no way we should be keeping lauaki for next season..hes done nothing at prop or second row...rite disapointment...he couldnt break wind,never mind a tackle.

He's broken 93 tackles in 48 games. In a team that supported the ball carrier, he'd be far more valuable.

Iv missed two home games this season and im astounded by that stat!!! Dont no what iv been watching.

I just think there's more to Lauaki than we've got out of him. The ability to break the line is a precious commodity in this competition and a very hard one to replace, particularly with British players. Lauaki doesn't really run his weight or get his shoulder in in the tackle enough for me, but we've got plenty of players that do, like Ogre, Fitz, Tickle, Radford, Dowes. We don't exploit his ability to break the line by organising to give him the right option to take.

TBF 60 of those tacklebusts were in 2010, but still.

Ha,fair enough..a stats a stat but i still dont think hes done enough in his time at hull to warrant a new contract!

He was awesome that game, yet he has never really replicated that performance with any consistency, I think he has the makings of a great player but we have failed to achieve this whilst he wore our colours.

Since he lost his crazy aggression hes been gash

Totally agree on the aggression,seems to be a damn sight better when the red mist descends.Made me laugh on Fri...he got a pass and it had ward 10 wrote all over it,minute he recieved it he had 3 salford players engulf him and someone shouted "run your weight you lazy get"....want to try watching the game.

Hame is a decent player but hasn't hit the heights of an impact player consistently enough to merit a new deal. He is not strong defensively and despite what any stats might say he has rarely broken clear of the line in attack. Not a pop at him as he has been far from poor but non fed spots are valuable and that will likely see him out. Agree that he has been playing a bit like he knows it of late.

Hame sitting Leon Pryce on his ass was one of the stand out moments of 2010.

his best moment was when he was being "assaulted" by Rob Burrow. Still chuckle when I think of that.

Sad thing is that that is the most memorable thing that he's done during his FC career.

Edit: Or maybe the 2nd most memorable, the Rob Burrow incident was amazing.
