True, but in Anastas case, he has a year left to run on his Roosters deal. After that he may be lucky to pick up anything more than a 1 or 2 year deal in the NRL.

If he chose to come over to SL, then clubs would be looking to offer him a 3 or 4 year deal at least, on very good money. Regardless of weather the tax rules and exchange rate is poor, for Anasta, it would make sense to prolong his career for as long as he can, and SL is more than likely the only place he could do that.

Anasta is very very over rated its no surprise Roosters started performing better when Anasta got moved from 6 to the back row.

I saw a team who performed better last season than the previous two, I saw us lose games we should have won, I saw us win games we should have lost, I saw young kids coming through who have the potential to be true stars and I enjoyed watching true Aussie legends show pride in the black and white shirt. SL isn't what it was 7 or 8 years ago, when you knew a trip to the Galpharm was a 40 or 50 point win or that going to Knowsley Rd would see yet another drubbing, anyone can beat anyone on their day, look were Wigan where a couple of years ago and last year Wigan were the stand out team last year by a country mile, on paper Agar is the best British coach in SL and performance wise we are better than we were two years ago. Trophy wise suggests we aren't one of the biggest clubs in the game, last season with our halfbacks missing for half the season we just missed out on fourth and for me that's a huge improvement and this season there's potentially more to come. I always see my glass half full rather than empty.

We finished sixth after daft lad Radford decided to get himself sent off for hitting a player on the ground then got tonked by Rovers where we was appauling.

We have major weaknesess in the side and needed to bring in cover or replacements but have done nothing>

I cannot for the life of me understand what the hell is going on at Hull FC. We cant attract anyone decent and the board seem happy for us to plateau at this boring unintersting middle of the road level we seem to be at under the tutorage of the great Mr Agar.

Jake, I remember going to Spotland in the mid nineties and getting tonked, also regularly getting beaten by the likes of Keighley, Oldham, Doncaster, Whitehaven etc. These days are blossoming compared to that. Last season under such a poor coach, we finished 4 games off 2nd place, behind a club we also did the double over, gaining what 12 or 14 points more than the season before, whilst never having a consistant half back pairing. I care about my club and I would love them to be winning trophies year in, year out, but I also understand that realistically there are 6 or 7 other clubs who in reality have as good a chance as us.
I have been patronised by many people in my life and although unfortunately at this time my black and white garden is not blooming as well as it could be, but I am just greatful that I don't possess the negativity and bitterness towards our club that you do, I follow Hull through thick and thin, always have and always will, I take the good times as I do the bad times and I love my club. My suggestion to you is look where we have been in the past 20 years, appreciate the fact we have some genuine stars in our black and white shirt, accept the fact that we are improving under Agar ( points don't lie ) and try to look forward to another season of uncontrolled highs and heart sinking lows, because they wll happen.

You see mate, we're just on different sides of the coin. I've also seen much worse than we have right now, but at least there was a reason then. We were skint, the playing roster was poor, we were playing in a clapped out stadium with part time players.

Fast forward 15 years and we are one of the best off clubs in the league, playing in a state of the art stadium in front of the 3rd highest attendances in SL. So you have to ask yourself what is wrong? We are consistently left lacking when it really matters, play the most boring brand of rugby in SL and haven't had a decent, fit half back since 2006.
