I believe it is safe to assume that Burnett has not breached the club rules here. The club has made a statement regarding Tansey, I'm certain if Burnett was involved it would have included him. Let's not tar the lad with idle speculation.

Burnett's done nothing wrong AFAIK, just replaced by the returning Tickle.

I guess this is one argument in favour of the info about Tansey being published at the same time as the squad announcement - would have stopped Burnett being roped in by association.

Tickles form meant in all fairness to Burnett he would come straight back in unless Burnett produced the best game he'd ever had against the Crusaders, he's just unlucky Tickle was playing so well and was missed.

The announcement/statement about Tansey should have been made at the time ideally to avoid all the rumour, speculation etc and is all that was needed, no details just the reason he has been omitted. Full marks to Agar for keeping a hard line with the players no matter who they are or how well they are playing as no one should or is it would seem been treated any differently from each other.
Sends a clear message to the rest of the squad and we may well see a responce.

Hope Turner is given a go in the halfs as he certainly can't produce any less than the tried/failed Horne/Washy combo no disrespect meant to either Horne or Washy but we need a little more and they have been tried more than enough to see it just doesnt work.
