FC Voices isn't a representative body, so none of that is relevant.

Exactly the constitution is not for a member body it is for a group of fans that try their best to help other fans get the most out of supporting their club. As such proportional representation does not come into it because there are no members to judge a proportion of!! Its fine it works.

One representative per organisation is as the group is constituted and unless the members feel that has become obsolete then it stays as it is, simply because its fine and it works.

The fact that when HISA used their place on the group, more often than not no one turned up anyway!

As an asside I would think that an independant supporters group would need at least twice that number of members to be taken seriously by the club, particulally if the leaders were, before it had even been formed, overly concerned about the amount of power and representation they had on other fans organisations!

There are far bigger fish to fry than that, and already it would appear that you are getting bogged down in power issues! Perhaps, just perhaps the new ISA may just need the support of FC Voices and all the other fans organisations in the first instance without allianating them before they even get started!

I see no reason whatsoever why FC voices should change if the ISA becomes succesful as they would perform different functions IMO. I also see no reason why any fans group would need more than 1 seat on FC voices? Its not like they vote on anything AFAIK so more than one seat wouldn't give any sort of advantage anyway.

If this becomes some sort of power struggle or witch hunt I wont be involved.

As was the main reason I resigned my position within HISA and to be honest, reading through this topic/posts, I can see the same problems just repeating themselves over again as before.

The I in ISA = Independant and will be seen by the club as a threat, just as before, it'll need a strong Leader and Committee! Who???

It had a high proportion of fans back in the early days of SL, a similar proportion today would see membership around 4K.

Now that would be something to aim for.
