Although Hull are probably sending out the wrong message signing Reardon they have a Football club to run and like Hull KR and Benny C another club would have only took up his signature. This is where our governing body should draw up a set of rules for players and clubs to adhere too. Until this happens these situations at Hull & Rovers will only be repeated across the RFL fraternity.

Regards sentencing I'm guessing he won't go down. I'll be surprised if he does. If the Judge felt it was serious enough to warrant a custodial sentence then on Reardon going guilty the judge would have remanded him into custody. Instead he's bailed awaiting sentencing.

The rugby League should just de register anyone found guilty of violence for a year or so! then no one else could sign them and as is the case in Aus where this happens some players might think twice before any thuggish behaviour.

I've always enjoyed having Hull FC fans over to Knowsley Road. There's always been good banter and so far as I can remember, no trouble. It would be a real shame if people came over and started booing two players on the pitch (assuming Reardon plays for you on Monday) or otherwise causing problems. I hope we can all just get on with supporting our teams and watching a great game of rugby league.

Would you say he is on par with, or better than Thorman at FB as both have been suspect under the high ball, as Motu and Hall have been also.

He is here now so it's all 'mint imperial' anyway, what we have to do is get behind him and support him despite his indiscretions and hope he shows some form and gives us a boost in confidence at having someone who is a specialist to that position at the back.
Bring Hall back into the centre and Whiting at LF and we should have a more potent attack.

Top post. I deal with domestic violence in my job day in day out and none reach the paper, I also deal and see ( yes witness ) acts of thuggery every weekend in Hull and only the most serious make the press.
