This is all a bit odd, this lot have been very much finger on pulse with any negative effect on sales/profit margins. Now they have hacked off a large section of there customers that could well now dump buying a pass for a policy of match selection. Coupled with the freebies, poor games etc this season a pass could well have proved more expensive. I mean how many would actually go to the next two home matches if they had to pay 2-3k.

I am quite concerned as to why they have suddenly grown bollox and stood by a coach who is clearly struggling. I think we need to keep a very close eye on what they do in the next few months.

This is a joke, even if you take all the factors, injuries, Luakai , Crocker it still does not answer the team selection and interchanges which have been a grave area of concern even for fans who do not have the greatest knowledge of our game.Morgan and other coaches get this area right, even if players are getting dropped for things behind closed doors there is still no answers for interchanges.
The biggest thing Agar lacks for me is the ability to motivate the team, even with [ihis[/i own team next year will he be able to motivate? I fear not. Tony Smith and Nathan Brown have proved a good coach can motivate any players even if they are not theirs

Sound like you put across the majority's opinions but were faced with the wall of flannel. Things just don't add up. Why would any Chief Exec at a big club allow a coach with a horrific win ratio to continue when it is so transparently alienating the fans? There has to be more to this than meets the eye, or simply Kath's way of ensuring a team that 3 years ago was a title contender is unable to threaten Leeds. The question I would ask, which you sort of did with the Morgan one, is whether he believes we have played to our full potential with the players available in any game this season. Because we haven't either through poor selection, rotation or complete absence of a gameplan. This is utterly depressing.

He is adamant that the new players coming in (and he took 10 minutes describing every one) will not stand for any e (he's words). I told him it sounded like he had made a mistake but there was no turning back so he now had to believe he was right. Your right it is depressing but there is absolutely nothing anyone can do to change things, like I said you either go or you stay away. We can only hope he IS right, but after the last 2 seasons my faith is beginning to pale!!!

Well i'm making my own individual stance and that is not to renew my pass for next year. When i get the renewal form i shall be sending back with a well scripted letter outlining the reasons why i won't renew for the first time in 12 years. That my fellow fnas is a sad thing for me to say!

He did'nt seem fazed about the "challenge' of selling passes for next season "it's always a challenge, but we are confident". Brick walls and head in sand was going through my head all the time he was talking.

The problem is there are numerous ready made excuses that the club can use for this and last years poor league performances and if they don't sell the same level of season passes they can blame the current economic climate...all in all anything is to blame apart from their appointment of a poor coach!

Correct, but not just that, he has more reasons/excuses up his sleeve than anyone I have ever talked to (even scousers!) The gist I got was, these new players are gonna swing it for them, everyone (he thinks) will want to watch these new players in black and white. Also there will be new payment schemes for passes and a lot of marketing coming our way. Watch this space!!
