Talk a good game when it comes to "squad depth with the youngsters" and then play with 15 men.
Gentle has clearly realised that we have no squad depth whatsoever and we are in for a top 8 scrap.

Everyone can see that our squad is paper thin in the forwards. We lose only 4 players and can't even play a game with 17 men.
Very disappointing and a good indication as to where we are in relation to the top teams. (miles away) |

Rovers drew with Saints despite missing both half backs and their captain.
Poor result tonight and improvement needed fast. |

It's sometimes not how many you have out, but who you have out. I'm not saying it isn't a poor result, just that it's not quite as bad as some are making out. Upsets happen - particularly early on. We need to sort discipline and mistakes though. |
