What I saw of Crookes last week he ran the ball well and finished off his try, and by all accounts did quite well the week before. Gentle liked the look of him from the off last season, he's young, strong and quick. It would have been foolish to go into the season with just Lineham and Briscoe. |

I spoke to Danny in the clubshop on thursday afternoon and he told me he would be ready in 3 weeks and really looking forward to getting back playing again,so unless he had the setback on friday or saturday i think what you heard is way off the mark. |
