We don’t want to be making the same mistake as last season and giving new deals out after a couple of good performances . In a way I’ll contradict myself here , but if he continues how he’s been playing I’d give green another deal , it’s just his injury record that isn’t great . But he looks like he’s bulked up a bit and I’ve been impressed since he’s returned .

I think we'll only keep one of Bowden and Green - the question is which. I actually think Green is the better player on his day but injuries and inconsistency blight his game

Bowden is under contract, and a much better player, one if the best props in SL in 2016-17.

Green is OK, but too injury prone and inconsitent, with the likes of Brown and Masi I think it's time to move him on.

Need to replace, Ellis, Paea, Manu, Mini and probably Westerman so 4 forwards needed as we have Savalio.

My guess is Jones, Mellor, Glenn and Evans.

Plus an NRL back.

if westy can stay fit I would sign him up, last night he was the glue what held our pack together, big unit, tackles well, ball handler as well, Green well again thought he played well but hes another one whos got to prove his fitness

Not really sure why you seem keen to move Westerman on. Arguably our best player this year. We look a much better side with him at 13. Much better attacking shape than when we have another ball carrier there. Would be top of my list to retain.

He regular does 40ish tackles with 15 to 20 carries..plus barring o loughlin is the only loose of his type,and in SLs top 10 try scorers madly..How much grunt you want? I'd Defo keep. Taylor Bowden 1 maybe 2 in.. I'd probs retain green for some value and masi improving continually with bienek on board too. Plus we'll have savelio who will be used as a 2nd but in times of need can middle up just as well. We're doing fine I'd say

I would say that this one is far more likely to happen.

Jones had been rumoured a while but as Leeds desperation grows I imagine their offers will also.

I'm not, just the way Radford spoke and rumours in the media, I'm expecting him to leave.

Leeds were sniffing around Jones according to LE, but could the sacking of Furner slow them down/but recruitment on hold for a short while.

Think Leeds were also after Joel Thompson too due to him working with Furner at the Raiders, could he be back on the market now?

I think westerman may be able to get more elsewhere than at Hull so depends whether he wants to put more in the retirement fund or stay where he knows he enjoys it. Radford is always singing his praises so I'm sure we'd want to keep him if we can

It was for next year, I'd guess Cuthbertson would be retiring which would give them some wiggle room.

Looks like we are going to freshen the squad up next year which is great to hear. Hopefully we'll be doing the majority of the recruitment in the pack, which needs beefing up.

We had a big pack 2016 - 2017 which gave our spine a good platform to work from. It appears Radford and Pearson has realised this and its something we are going to revert back to, and hopefully bring us some more success.....

I don't think the outside backs need too much attention, if we can keep Faraimo (which i think we will) then we just need another winger, I'm hoping we could pick up a decent British winger but the OOC list in that position doesn't look great. Joe Burgess is the name that sticks out, but think he'll stay at Wigan. Other options are possibly Minikin, but he's iffy under the high ball and not fantastic in defence, Caton-Brown could be another option, but looks like he'll stay at Wakfield.

If you believe the rumours in the HDM, looks like we've lined up Alex Glenn, who I dont know too much about TBF as I don't watch that much NRL but he looks like an athletic back rower. A one club man with the Broncos, would he want to leave anyway?

Evans is a rumour I like, he came over with the Roosters for their WCC game with Saints a few years back (I think he did his shoulder though). Looks a big raw boned prop. Think he'd definately help Taylor out, and still only 27 so a decent age.

Would love us to sign Josh Jones. A real dynamic backrower who never stops, but I don't think he'll be short of an offer or two. The metres he makes every week are bonkers, low error count and has an offload too.

Maybe I'm just playing fantasty Rugby League here, but I'd also like us to sign another prop to replace Green. Preferably an older head who could give us some impact off the bench. If we go next year with Taylor, Bowden and Evans (?), If one of them are out for some time we'd essentially be using two 'kids', Masi being one and one of Bienek, Brown or Nzongou. Signing another prop would also give us the option of rotating our middles against 'easier' opposition.

The last piece in the jigsaw would be to sign a utility player to cover off the bench. A player I'd like us to make a play for is Samisoni Langi at Catalans, he's comfortable in the backrow and centre , he can also cover in the halves too if needed. Plus hes OOC.

Would Ratu be willing to leave the army to sign on fulltime? That's my only concern about him

but why would he put his body on the line and get match fit for rugby league, make a good job, then chuck it all in to go back to the army?
