Vaikona played centre and only really played his best rugby 2nd division for us, his best rugby in the top flight was for Bradford.

Briscoe was miles better than Eastwood.

Agree with you Dave. TB was also looking for work and only one of a few players that we've got who never ran it in half hearted.

Briscoe was/is class its a hard position to play wing and hes had bad and good games like any other player in SL, its hard when you think back of FCs wingers as the games progressed and got so much harder/faster, maybe Chico Jackson would be in my top 3 now...lol

Obviously not a Hull fan but for me Colin Best was a class player on the wing for you.

Well I have had a pass and have watched him play. He's has been poor for the majority of the season with the odd flash of brilliance. His performances increased in standard (after he signed for Leeds)...

He has always been largely poor in defence, regularly drifts out of position. Yes he scores tries but wingers do, he is not worth a huge amount of money and I'd much rather have Lineham in my side. He is and will continue to be a far better player than Briscoe..

In terms of appearances for us he is right up there but looking at wingers who have had superb careers in the game and represented our club i doubt he will make the top 5;

Sing?! He did nothing of note for Hull, was a class player but played in an awful Hull side.

Hence why i was judging wingers careers as a whole as opposed to their hull careers but saying that Sing still managed to score 32 tries in 39 games for Hull.

Really Sing scored that many? Really surprised at that, didn't think he got anywhere near that tbh.

Blacklock over Sing any day of the week, Prediville was/is a very much underated winger, elusive (best step of a player we've ever had) fast and brave. He could kick out of hand as well as a very good goal kicker, massively underused in his latter years sadly.
