My word, some of the bickering on this thread is nothing short of sad.

It's a shame that some people let their dislike of another club cloud rational judgement (both sides).

It's also ridiculous that some people would rather not work in an arrangement that benefits our club simply because it would also benefit their rivals (not on about this situation by the way, mainly some other examples that have come up in general). I'm guessing these are the same kind of people that don't go to work because they don't want to give the government any money.

Here we are, then. North Stand beyond repair and ERDF funding not approved yet, resorting to asking AP for permission to play at the big house.

Did'nt AP just state at the forum that if the Dobbins wanted to play their home game at the KC, then only if it were in the intrest of Hull F.C and that meant getting the best deal possible out of the arrangement, would they agree to it?.

He did. Specifically that it would have to be of significant financial advantage to Hull as well as Rovers for it to happen. But he'd welcome it if that were the case.

lets do some maths,

20k crowd, take off 8k for Rovers passholders and child swaps (big enough to guarantee all ours)

that leaves 12k paying, average say 20.00, that 240k in gate receipts.

Take of 50k for hire and stewarding, that leaves 190k to be split.

95k each isnt a bad profit for both teams (not forgetting Rovers already have there passholder income tucked away)

lol 20k gate plus 12x8k say equals 116k over the season and an average of over 10K,sounds like a plan to me.

I hope Rovers use the 10k+ average crowd in their next bid for SL, it'll be funny when the RFL say "whats the capacityat CP?"

They would surely be on the same plan as us for the game. First 7500 free then out of the 12k you make approx 240k , minus the 50k for rental this then leaves it at approx 70k profit.

I dont think that you would get anywhere near a 20k gate (remember all hull fc fans would have to pay)

For a derby, like with a concert the hirer will have to foot a police bill. All "bar" takings stay with the SMC.

All will be available to the clubs is the paying gate (after passholders)

We are waiting for Rovers to announce how many they have sold......

If Rovers wanted a 10k average, they'd need to average 8k at Craven Park and take 3 games to the KC with a total of 50k overall.

So they'd probably have to go with Leeds and Wigan and hope for 15k at each of those. Can't see that happening though.
