If I was recruiting a Director of Rugby I would prefer Noble to Bomber due to coaching records. Although Bomber would not surprise me as they have probably built up a good working relationship from his stint as FC coach.

Maybe just asking his opinion as he used to coach us and has respect in the game?

Possibly that win saved his job, lets hope AP sees some sense and replaces Agar before the start of next season, otherwise it could cost AP a lot of money in lost revenue through season passes and merchandise.

Exactly . He will set Agar targets , if they are no met he will be gone.

I hope those improvements were for this season, because I feel the club will continue in a rapid downhill spiral if the persist with Agar in charge.

Reading the article on the Sky rugby league site has filled me with dread.

A point I made today to a Hull FC fan I was chatting to, Pearson has been at the helm for a week or two now, and has come out and said this Agar stuff isn't true etc.

Now, we all know chairmen/owners tell us only what we want to hear, look at ours and the Mason saga and Morgan to Cas and what not, but two weeks into his ownership if Pearson is saying it isn't true only for it to turn out to be true, I would be disappointed at a new chairmen lying to the fans so early into his time at the club.

As I said, we never really get told anything so take everything said with a pinch of salt, but if Agar does go, I don't think Pearson lying so early sends out the best of messages. Any thought guys? Serious comment, not trying to wind up. I would be the same if it was the other way around.

He's said all areas at the club are being reviewed. He's not said that Agar is definitely staying.

One thing for sure is the fella is talking to absolutely everyone in private and asking EVERYONE thei opinion of the setup, heads will definately roll come the end of the season but I doubt one will be RA if i was to be honest

Been thinking about this today and what happens if Agar has some form of performance related contract that states we must finsih in the top eight or perhaps have to win a play off game. If we do Agar goes onto the next year of his contract (though this may still get ripped up) but if we dont then Agar can be sacked without us paying the final year off and just by waiting a few games then Pearson may save himself a 100K pay off.

I can't see how other staff can be sacked and not Agar.

Agar will probably blame his backroom staff and assistant coach as usual. Or will they try and get a better backroom to support him (I fooking hope not!)

I would guess how he views the whole set up model once he has spoken to everyone ???
if everyone says RA is the man then 9 out of 10 cats cant be wrong , but AP is clearly as sharp as a knife , thats for certain.. he is already making cuts here and there where money is being wasted... by all accounts he has MASSIVE plans for 2013 when he can make the shouts on who signs etc but this coming season apart from the odd change he has to run with whats already in the bag i guess..

Lying may be too strong but to say "The story about Richard isn't true" would indicate he is staying surely.

He can't afford to write 2012 off, if he doesn't think he's got the right players then pay them off or don't renew their contracts and sign others.

My view on the last 24 hours is - Agar is all but gone, however for one reason or another this will not be officially announced until the season end. This could be part of the agreement with Wakefield?!

No - he is denying that Agar has been offered the DoR position.

If that turns out to be the case, then perhaps the only people who pay to watch the team may be you and a couple of others. I do hope that you are mistaken.
