Im sure sales are ticking over quite nicely but i wouldn't believe anything in the press releases, common practice to exagarate sales to encourage others to shell out,

Truth is we'll never really know how many passes they sell. There's no way they will announce a big drop even if there is one

£180 for a pass,at salford for 2011,plus a new replica top thrown in!!

and for those who don't want the new top can have something else from the club shop.

You cannot compare a season ticket to watch Salford at The Willows and one to watch Hull FC at the KC Stadium.

Sooner pay the extra £60 and sit down in a top of the range stadium than stand in that dump.

£19 more than ours, what a saving, why not go there to watch your rugby?

Perrhaps because at the KC you dont walk from a car park in pitch dark up to your knees in mud, because you can watch from a great vantage point, at any side of the pitch, and see wherever you sit, prhaps because the floodlights actually illuminate the whole pitch, because when you leave you have at least an even chance of finding you car still has wing mirrors, if you can find it at all!!!! because you get video replays of tries during the game, because there are wash basins in all the toilets, because Trish Goldsmith is not involved in the pre match!........ etc etc..... all of a sudden our tickets are pretty good value I think!!!



I bet when salford open their new stadium their prices are frozen don't you??

It's not a difficult concept, is it? Excellent covered seating with a top view vs standing on ridiculous concrete steps with no parking facilities and partly-functioning bogs. £1.46 extra per game. Seems reasonable to me.

£230 for my east stand pass,plus £45 for a new top=£275
£180 plus new top free=£180 or £135(if you take away the cost of a top)
so in a sense it costs £145 more.

yes,we have the best facilities,but all i am saying is how big the difference is in terms of cost!

you only have to look at salfords average attendances, like bradford they are looking at ways to sell more season tickets through incentives

Nail on the head mate! Does anyone honestly think that teams like Salford and Bradford would have such low season pass prices this year if they had 10,000+ pass holders last year?!

That's without going into the huge difference in facilities argument! Bigger club with better facilities equals higher prices, just guess how much it will go up once we start playing attractive, free-flowing rugby!!

Well no,however you look at it the actual difference is £95, you can only compare like for like. Total cost of pass or total cost of pass + shirt. As there is no option but to pay the £180 at Salford the direct comparison difference is £275-£180. If you insist on taking off the price for a shirt the difference is still £95 (£230-£135) however the Salford option is to get the shirt so only the former comparison can be made.

Morning rat fans, just a heads up on the direct debit scheme. My first 80 quid payment came out on Friday, unfortunately for me I totally forgot about this whilst doing the xmas prezzie dash round town this weekend. Account now overdrawn and 40 quids worth of charges to cough up by Monday, doooooohhhh

Picking mine and the lads up on new years eve.....comes out of next months pay so after paying for chrimbo and passes its bread and water for January I'm afraid............mind you those yellow slush puppies outside are free and have a lovely flavour
