Well i disagree... I'm proud of every shirt i buy from the club. And i'm proud to support FC through the good times and the bad... Glory hunters will come and go, but not me!!

Our time will come, whether it's next year, year after or 10 years away.. and i'll be there to see it!!

My shirt has no bearing on that.... I have a signed framed shirt of the 2005 CC Final. But i also have one of last year (2009) with Thorman's signature (along with the rest of the squad).

I love both shirts of this year (2011) although, i'm not sure about the cotton as i don't feel it fits comfortably, wears well and i don't like the patchwork sponsors. However, i think both designs are great!! The away one is, IMO, the best away shirt for years... Very Australia like for me!!

But i won't burn them if we win nothing!!

I am not a better fan of this club than anyone else and don't claim to be!!

All i'm saying is, i buy my pass, away tickets, various other items, both shirts and wear them with pride win or lose!! This is no different to anyone else. If somebody pays on the gate just once a year then they contribute to our great club and they are a fan and therefor entitled to an opinion.. But there's a time and a place to do it!! My main point being that, some fans may not renew or go to games this year because season pass prices will increase, they don't like the shirts and/or don't think we'll win anything... Well i will, cos i want to be there for that special moment if/when it does happen, those glorious feeling that you just don't get when you watch it back!!

I'm proud of where my club is but still strive for improvements. Why abuse other fans for this reason??

I think that is something most clubs have realised ( the reason we wore a red shirt in out first SL year).
The years of you only needing 1 shirt for 10 years due to it never changing are long gone.
TBH I have seen worse FC shirts and you are back to your hoops.

Really like them both. Gottabe the away one for the Christmas list though, slightly prefer it.

They were the colours on the club crest as far back as the 1880s.

Well, this seasons away shirt could have been the reverse of last seasons, mainly black with white irregular hoops on the chest and arms. How difficult was it for them to design the new home shirt with hoops that go all the way around?

the new away shirt has very similar colours to the North Queensland Cowboys

i will be buying the away shirt this season as i alternate between home and away every season

both designs are quite good, a lot better than most superleague teams come up with

two more decent designs. unfortunately, as always, with the materials, sizing, shape and general build quality they'll still look utter crap

You have to give the club credit on the merchandising front. They come up with consistently good designs, & are always available in good time for the Xmas market.

The shirt in your avatar is, however, the pinnacle of good design as far as Hull RLFC is concerned. In my humble opinion, of course.
