I agree it is a wider issue for the game, but as we play in a sport that has a cap on the biggest cost (player wages) that hasn't increased for some time, and the biggest source of income is also stable and guaranteed for a few years (TV rights) it shouldn't be too hard to achieve. Crowds have had a boost, its retaining them, adding some more and getting some bigger sponsors on board that needs to be the next target.

Leeds is Good Friday and not on Sky, that would be a perfect game to target imo

Neither game is on Sky TV. I would push the Castleford game for a 20K Crowd and if the Club gets their act together it is achievable.

The club are doing really well, hopefully 12k+ on Thursday, not sue what anyone means by "getting their act together", short of dragging people in off the street who happen to be passing!

Why? This is already a high profile game which should achieve a decent crowd. If anything this needs aggressively marketing in Leeds to get more travelling fans to come over, which lets face it, its one of the main issues for crowd numbers no increasing significantly, the fall in away fans. Also, this game is not scheduled to be on TV.

IMO it would be better to focus on a game which was due for TV coverage.

Surely a non tv game would have the potential for bigger crowds?
