I'll be walking 5 minutes to the Bakerloo line station, getting the first tube that comes along, changing at Baker St, and then sitting down until we get to Wembley ;0)

Western Australia is not that far compared to the distance some are coming. I'll tell him its not that impressive.

I hope its worth it. A Wembley win is on all of our bucket lists but it seems a lot less likely at times than "7. Go into space" and "91. Punch Rupert Murdoch"

A bit of a slight spin on the topic. My friends Dad who has been going 40+ years has no Holiday arranged no work commitments but will not be going to the final. He has said he can't bear to watch Hull get beat at Wembley again. Everyone has been telling him to go and that this year we could win it at Wembley and how gutting it would be to not see us win at Wembley, but he will not go and said he would just be Happy for us to win their. Can't believe what the club can do to some people.

My dad was the same after Friday's game - "I don't want to go back down there again to see us lose, i cant do it"

Saturday - he has bought 5 tickets and booked his hotel!

Well I'm hoping that lucky 7 will strike.

My losing Wembley finals are 1980,82(draw),83,85,2008 and 2013 so I'm banking on a lucky 7th attempt.

One thing I was saying last night though - at least this year if we lose we should still have something else to play for - the season wont be dead and buried there and then. But if I'm truthful a Wembley win will always be top of the agenda until (and if ever) we actually achieve it.

I'm hoping 3rd time lucky, 08 and 13 are my Wembley defeats just too young for the 85 final. I really want that Wembley win too its already consuming me. I keep going through all different scenarios in my head thinking if we have beaten them twice we can do it again, then thinking Wire wont loose to us 3 times in the same season and they will win when it matters most. So excited for the final but at the same time nervous as hell already!!

Saints and Cats have lost to us 3 times. Wanting to beat us doesn't seem to help teams much. Rovers lost all 3 too.

It all comes down to how we play. If we're on it we win, if we're not we lose. It's on us. Which is scary. We need to make Wembley sound like a home game.

there all my losing finals as well I was 15 in 1980, I didn't realise until you posted there was as many but 7 is my birthday and has always been my lucky number so that's another good omen for me, works buzzing every one who even has just a casual interest in the club are going so we should take a massive following can not wait to wave the team off from the KC stadium onto Wembley all part of the experience for me

Where do you reckon the best place to drink is, the last two times, haven't been very successful finding decent pubs, want ones with good atmosphere, but not too busy that to can't get served.

We are parking at Stamore so anywhere around there or on the way to Wembley.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking of parking at Stanmore. Is it in the train station itself that you can park?
I'll be heading to The Torch near the ground. Or the premier Inn was good in 2008

really good station to go to Wembley from, parking in streets nearby but its first come first served and you might struggle, try justpark .com that's who I use ,cost £7/£10 to have secure parking near station

I'm parking on someone's drive using just park.com, thought it better to pre book cost £9 for the day, 2 min walk to station.
