I dont profess to know the answer or the issues for that matter. What I do know is some on here were of the opinion he had been treated poorly. If he was in an d out of the team at the coaches call, then its probably because he was not doing the job being asked of him. It would surely be poor team management to allow a play carte blanch, the others would soon join in and then you really do have carnage.

Not saying you're wrong but I think there were definitely questions been asked about our squad selection at the time and who was getting dropped/not picked and who was getting picked. I recall that when Miller finally got the nod that Radford indicated it was more because the fans had been asking for him rather than because Radford wanted to pick him!

I had a conversation with a relation of Bens who told me when he was born he had health problems (wont go into the details) but this means he has a strict diet which he has to keep to, which will make it much harder for him to bulk up.
Still a quality player, you cant coach his natural ability but you can coach tackling technique if we let him go it would be a big blow.

he is only 3ft 2 though, so 12 stone is probably as far as he can go

Here's a question to try and get things back on track. What's peoples preferred centre options? Sa and Yeamo, Crooks and Yeamo, Crooks and Sa? Can be for the present or the future.

I see Sa and Crooks if not next year then the one after, if Crooks does in fact bulk up a bit.

But with us likely to sign a new centre and even looking at the NRL for options. If he's from overseas I expect him to be a starter and not back up. Us going with four centres who's likely to fall down the pecking order?

It's difficult to look beyond this season as it seems we're in the market for a new centre for next year.

Out of those three (assuming we don't get a new centre), as they are right now I'd go with Yeaman & Sa. Like Cal says, if Crooks can add that bulk in pre-season, hopefully get some confidence back too, he'd play his way in before either of those two as he has the ability.
