Totally agree. It's scandalous that they think a statement like that which actually doesn't say anything will placate fans and clubs. They really must think we are stupid.

According to the RFL statement "players are more accountable for their actions than ever before".

However referees and RFL officials aren't accountable to anyone.

And therein lies the root of the problem.

That first bit makes no sense at all, unless Ganson went into the dressing room to say "Ref, speak to your touch judges. Touch judges, speak to the ref" and then left.

On the second bit, why has he gone to the ground at all? If it's an official monitoring visit, just say so.

Well said. For me, the time and place to scrutinise a refs performance is after the match, not during it.

I say its time the fans petition the RFL to change the review system as it clearly the absolute opposite of everything their statement suggests.

I had seen and heard about this over the weekend and Monday but was hoping Agar had just got his wires crossed, obviously not! That man should have been kicked out of the game many years ago(not Agar by the way lol)! The judiciary to match officials needs a complete overhaul but I wouldn't have a clue where to start, it's a complete shambles. A good start would be the dropping of Ganson from a great height.

How could they not decide who to ban on the Whiting tackle anyway? The Widnes number 16 clearly places his hands between Whiting's legs and tips him over into a vertical position. It looks quite clear cut to me.

I am in complete agreement with all I have seen today including Hudgell but is it not time for some of these Thick Headed players to stop some of the daft things they are doing. Before the game starts the players should perhaps say to refs right we will not go in 3rd man as long as you shout held quicker. The shoulder charge is outlawed - don't do it. And by the way get everybody (both teams) on side so that the game can be played properly. Remember Refs we introduced sin binning many years ago - start using it we the fans wont mind.

For me Johnson (10) should have been charged, he could see the leg being lifted by 16 yet he executes the throw.

Poore does lift the legs with hand inside, but 3 games for that is ridiculous

And yet when there are a couple of referees sat in the video box watching punches , high tackles , players being stood on etc the RFL say that they are not allowed to intervene because it's up to the on field referee and it wouldn't be fair as video refs aren't at every game. I know SG think's he's omniscient but the RFL should be ensuring that as he isn't and can't be at every game he butt's out until he does his weekly review. Inconsistency at every bl00dy level!!

It's these kind of actions and comments that make it look like a secret society.

We can complain as much as we want, but the RFL will not take a blind bit of notice, the game at the highest level will eventually slide back to where it was pre- Super League.

The only way to turn this around before we get to such a perilous state, is for all fans of all clubs to take a hard position on this to force a change, the first stage would be to boycott the Magic weekend. This would not significantly affect our clubs, but it would send out one hell of a signal to the incompetents at the RFL, one they couldn't ignore.
