Think he's the best available and not a bad coach . Apart from him and McNamara , can't see no one else . Had heard Radford , but think that was a stop gap mid season as surely it's to early for him .

We won't need a new coach unless Pearson relieves Gentle of his post or Gentle walks. I'm not sure either will happen.

In my opinion, at this moment in time, I agree with 'Handbrake' - we need a proven, experienced Head coach, who can mould a group of individuals into a team.

I'd like Brian Smith, with Craig Fitzgibbon, let Smith lay the foundations, then Fitzgibbon to finish the job.

Yes we did, with a different coach.

My only problem with Gentle is that he said his remit was to close the gap between our best and worst displays. If anything its got wider. At least under Agar we we always crap. I feel totally disheartened after last night. This is the same team that I've seen come from 12 points down against Warrington, twice. Beaten leeds with a great display of Attacking rugby and resolute defence. Gone to Catalans and shown a real steel to win. Ive then also seen the shambles last night, the home loss to Wakey and away to Castleford. It's so frustrating, we can be superb for a period of games and then truly awful on the back of it.

Either way, a 70 point blowout in one of the most important games of the season shows me that the players haven't learned, or that Gentle simply can't teach them!!! Thats our two most important games of the season and our two worst performances.

Gentle should be given another season as you can't deny the youth he's bringing through, but for me he's under incredible pressure from here on in.
