Which asks the question, why is he being treated like some sort of god when he has basically done a "Schofield" on us?

I think he has earnt the right to a move IMO, he could and probably should have left Hull a couple of years ago.

Easily in my all time Hull FC team and a massive loss, I feel sometimes we relay on him too much and if he well marked (like last night) we tend to struggle.

He leaves with my best wishes and thanks for his efforts since being a Hull player and wish he luck at Saints.

Saints' backrow of Manu, Soliola, and Puletua is pretty fearsome.

I'd rather have Ellis, Tickle and Westerman.

Don't forget Whiting, that wont be Saints back three (not at the same time) anyway too similar, there will be a workhorse type player like Wilkin and Flanagan in there.

And Galea.

I'm happy with our back row and pack in general, we could do with another prop though.

It's a huge blow having Manu leave, he has been a fantastic servant for the club. It'll be very strange seeing him in a Saints shirt. Not looking forward to that, especially at the KC.

I wish him well personally but not professinoally though.

Players move on,I am sure his move to Saints wasn`t done just to pee us off.
He has been great for us,and of all that are going,he is by far the biggest loss.
I wouldn`t say he was being treated like a god,more a great player for Hull F.C.

As has been said, sometimes we seemed to have relied on him to much and it was a case of give it to Manu and hope something happens.

For every games he looked unstoppable he would have two games where he didn't offer much, last week and last night for example.

He will be missed in the team, but not as much as some think in my opinion. Ellis and Galea play to the same level everyweek and Westerman has been superb as of late for me.

Next season we should have a set of halves that will put our players into gaps, not rely on Manu to barge his way through to create something

Freak of a player who has got better and better with us over the years. At times hes been unplayable. Very weird seeing him play against us next season. Good luck to him, apart from when he plays us.

Great player and gutted he's gone. i'm sure he'd have stayed if we hadn't dikked him about on his contract offer at first

Goodbye Willie, it was a genuine pleasure to see you in action. I don't think money was the defining factor in his move to Saints either. More a case of, 2 years left in me, I want to win something.

Wish we'd kept him and offloaded Westerman instead. He hasn't lived up to the hype at all and certainly not worth the money we paid for him.

After Smith and Swain I would put Manu as the best signing we have ever made in the SL era.

Outstanding player, top bloke and irreplaceable in terms of what he brings to the team. One of my favourite players for us in SL.

Actually I can say what I like on this forum. Even you lot can't stop us expressing opinions. Manu showed no loyalty to the club and I can't believe so many are wishing him well
