They keep going on about fan trouble, I'm hoping they are talking about the two Cass fans that may have turned up, arguing whos going to go on the back of the tandum on way home.'"
Cas fans arguing amongst themselfs...got a bit tasty after Horne "scored" and chavs corner started giving them the verbals.

| Quote ="Kosh"Well that was a game pretty much ruined in the first half by Hicks.
Think we did just enough to win and there were a few good things mixed in with some ordinary stuff. Hope Heremaia is OK because he looked to not be quite 100% for much of the second half.'"
2 cracking trys set up by lovely balls from Seymour. As for Hicks...was terrible to both teams and clearly isnt S/L standard.
For me,everyone was expecting another Bradford but Cas played well in 1st half until Orr went off, they had nowt to lose and slung it about but 106 pts to 16 in 2 matches will do very nicely.

| Crowd was 11,607, which is one of the best of the season (considering the low away support and the game being 'dead rubber') and about 1K up on the Catalan game, shows what a good win and a good vibe off the field can do.

There were some good scores - I liked Ogre's even though it was simple. Nobody was going to stop him avoiding the naked run.
Thought Hicks was going to blow the pea out of his whistle. Shame he didn't get injured and have to leave the field again.

I was actually expecting a worse performance because I thought we might lose focus after last week. As you say, Cas really threw the ball around early on and we did well in the end to limit them to one score. Happy with the result and if we really haven't picked up any injuries then I'll be delighted.

| Some of the decisions Hicks made baffled me,blind aswell at times....
and even the lines men getting involved lol
Chase seemed to be giving it all..but did seem like a sly dig with the arm on Houghton on that break away after he dropped the ball?
Bit of a scrappy game but a wins a win

| Hicks is a complete clown. At least he made it to the end of the game this time, though.
Not a great performance but some nice touches and we came through unscathed (I think). Yeaman and Tickle got some much needed game time.
Great to see O'Meley at his best.

| Quote ="carl_spackler"Not impressive first half, but we're in front. Chase seemingly out to show us exactly why we want him (yes Ian, we do. Seriously). Westerman & Crooks producing some good play, O'Meley seemed to get us going in his spell. Briscoe looked out of sorts then typically produced a good finish in difficult circumstances to put us in front, Horne been pretty pants IMO.
Anyone know if Turner is injured or if Gentle has just been smart enough to drop him?
=#FF0000Oh, and I'm pretty sure the first conversion missed.'"
We thought exactly the same thing as did most around us.

| I think Hicks is the worst ive seen all year. He just seem to miss stuff even when he had the best view his linesman had to help him out. He kept a skinny ten all game and he just seem to give easy penalties all game. Thought atmosphere was good, maybe we could play more games on a sat night.

The atmosphere was 'helped' by the fact a lot of the fans looked like they'd spent all day in a beer garden! that and I think the lack of tension in the game (as it was dead rubber) helped as well.

| Not the best game, seemed a case of going through the motions for both sides. We scored a couple of lovely tries and Chase for them was class all night.
