The only Hull League game I have attended since leaving England in 1966 was in June 2010 at the KC against St Helens. A really exciting game with Hull being seemingly down and out at half-time but then coming back to win in the last few minutes.

Did come for 2 Challenge Cup Finals at Wembley versus Rovers in 1980 and Wigan in 1985.Hoped to have seen the tables turned in the Wigan match as I had been to the Cup Final in 1960 when we were hammered by Billy Boston and his mates!

One of the best games we have had at the KC, I can still remember that some people left at half-time and missed the comeback!

Basically,Whiting was playing alongside Crooks in defence,to solidify our left edge,
which worked a treat against Leeds.

My 17 I've chosen is basically the same 17 that beat Leeds.

If Yeamans fit i'd play him.

Just run out in Cherry & White hoops and you should beat us. That seems to be our main problem at the moment !

Think Hull NEED to win this one and then Wakefield the week after, Going to struggle at the follow 2-3 games after that..

I think it's gunna be a cracker really difficult to call just hope whoever refs it keeps out of the headlines.

Saints are a team we can't afford to underestimate, theyve showed their class plenty of times but Wigan showed you need to get on top of them from the off, hope we can kill a game off too!

I thought St's were pretty good against Leeds (although Leeds weren't great) but wow were they $hite against Wigan. Still you cannot take anything for granted which makes for an intriguing match.

I've been really impressed with him. Really good in defence and showed some fantastic hands. He made another fantastic offload at the weekend through his legs.

Be more concerned if we lose one tbh.

It's easy to look at their last performance and think this one will be a win for FC, but you only have to look at the Leeds game 6 days earlier to see what their capable of.

Let's face it, ability wise were much closer to Leeds than Wigan, were still not full strength and we don't know how the result on Saturday will effect the players.

Very tough to call this one, could very easily go either way. Ignore the Saints defeat to Wigan, they are on fire right now playing some of the best rugby i've seen in a while. Saints showed at Leeds what they can do so we will have a right royal scrap for the win.

Good choice and about the best under the circumstances, I just feel we need at least one back on the bench because any injury in them could give us problems.

Whiting could always cover.
