Whatever AP has paid the bulls for Lynch, he will know that he'll get it all back and much more when our front row is the cornerstone of a team that is much stronger than last season's.

AP knows what he needs to spend, how to spend it and where to spend it. He also knows what can, potentially, come rolling in when the gates are averaging towards 20K each week.

it is AP's money and decision, but I am allowed an opinion, and my opinion is that £100k is £40/50k too much, especially if that £40/50k would have kept Luke Briscoe.

Reading the club's statement on Briscoe it seems that cash wasn't the problem per se. Looks like a little 'industrial espionage' went on and we didn't even get the chance to meet the competing offer.

You're saying that the extra £40-50k would have secured Briscoe's services. But as we need some more strength in the forwards next season, surely the money is better spent there.

I'm not sure how much of a case we could put together, especially when you consider how the RFL like to sweep stuff like this under the carpet and who works for them in a very senior capacity. No doubt Leeds would claim an approach after the anti-tampering deadline and the RFL would find in their favour.

I think with the lack of decent and available British props out there, the market was always going to be inflated....supply and demand etc.
Lynch's stats in Super League speak for themselves...Good injury record too so if he looks after himself I'm sure he can go on further than the two years. Will also bring leadership to the table, very important for us now Fitz has gone.

50k plus some 'incintive payments' on how well we do in his time here

Lynch with O'Meley (needs a good pre-season) as starting props very happy with that.

I think i would prefer to keep with Moa and O'Meley starting with Lynch and O/Carroll/Radford off the bench, or the other way around. That we we keep an impact and grafter prop on all the time.
