Your right the players blew it.... BUT the same players are making the same errors in the games were it counts. Surely that is down to clueless to sort out? Or are you of the same opinion as the icecreamman that knockout rugby has nothing to do with the coach but it is all down to the players?

Don't understand how people say blame the players . Don't people realise Wigan , Warrington players make mistakes as well but they keep winning . Surely this proves the coach is the most important person as person says . All comes down to coaching and tactics .

I reckon someone in a consultancy role until the end of the season and then all change in November.

It wouldn't change anything with regards to our league position, but it might at least boost the gates a bit.

The problem is that this isn't the first time it's happened. We have gone in at halftime numerous times leading and after an Agar motivated halftime team talk a completely different team emerge from the dressing room, somethings not quite right.

It may and it might halt the decline in the support.

Fair point, but I don't think Pearson would be unreasonable enough to Agar to only give him one game.

No but it would make the people who forked out £100s for season passes feel better, jesus we have to face Wigan, Wire & Cats yet we may as well have a caretaker coach at least then we know that Pearson is searching for a coach and there is light at the end of then tunnel.

This has got to be the crux of the matter for Pearson assuming he's bought us as an investment.

Would it really be unreasonable to give him one game? He's been in charge for 3 years and even a new owner has to take his record during that time into account.

He looked distinctly unimpressed in the occasional shot of him that the BBC showed. Reckon it was crossing his mind at least.

I have for some time been advocating losing our coach, however its now only a few weeks left to the seasons end and sacking him now will achieve very little but appease most of us. We have new owners and maybe, just maybe there has been some " interference" from the old board in coaching matters. The new owner has limited knowledge on the game, I know he likes the game and has watched for some time. He is in no position to stick his two pennyworth in like some of our retiring board almost certainly did and Rich may, may just be able to "do it his way now"

This season is now all, but over we can make the eight may as well let Agar have a run at it now and give him until the end of the season to see if things improve or not. There can then be no doubt as to his capacity as head coach, its his team and he runs it with no one sticking there/her nose in.

Not at all, of course it has to do with the coach but no player should need motivating for that game.....agar has to go end of...i think people think im defending him,im not just think the players really screwed it up today.

They need to look at it on a purely financial level. Sack Agar now, stick Webbo in charge till the end of the season whilst we sort out a new coach. With a new coach with a proven track record announced just in time for season pass sales.

It will give the club an extra couple of months to find the right guy to take over and make sure they're in place for the start of pre-season. If he waits until the end of the season, he won't be able to take the same amount of time to get his man.
