dont know what to say about sinfeild at 6, im starting to think he only gets in the team for his kicking game, doesnt really do anything else for me, would love to see england improve internationally and win the game but cant see it, exiles for the win.

i just think we as a international team will never be on the same level as the ozzys and NZ

Michael Shenton has never let England down either...was outstanding defensively in the 2009 Four Nations Final and was probably England's best player in his one appearance last year vs the Kiwis.

Don't know why people have such a downer on England. Had Roby, Burgess, Ellis, Widdop, Pryce and Brough being available, they would beat this Exiles side by 20-30 points.

Rubbish, Bridge is in outstanding form.

He is as strong defensively as Yeaman, yet is a much more 'rounded' player with more pace, better evasive qualities, a far superior pair of hands and even a kicking game.

I don't like the fact that the exiles have only 1 prop on the bench and puletula doesn't do long minutes. I can see fitz, manu and o'meley doing a lot of minutes on Friday.

Whilst highly unlikely we could still win both comps. Yes I know we're not going to but how would fans feel if the players said 'we're not going to do much it seems this season so we're giving up'.

We could still beat Leeds and make the cup semi's, then who know. We could still finish 6th and win a playoff game or two.

I am not expecting these things to happen but the season is not over.

I think its a shame that Maclennan left Steve Menzies out of the final squad when IIRC he topped the fans' poll. He is coming to the end of what has been a great career and it would have been fitting for him to take part in this match.

I think it demonstrates that Maclennan is all about results, not wistful sentiment.
