I love the unpredictability about Hame...I think he is one of the few who has been consistent this season so far, if he continues I would like to see him get another year at least....Hame or Dowes, no brainer!!

There is players out there I doubt we can find a few better than Lauaki though.

Lauaki still needs to more consistant in attack for me and he needs to use those massive shoulders in the tackle. I hate the way he flaps around in defence.

He Tongan like Mason isn`t he . Him and Moa shouldn`t count!

He's not Quota but takes up a Non-Fed spot so effectively blocks signing a Quota player because nearly all of them will also need a Non-Fed spot.

I like Lauaki, hope he stays for a couple more years he is so unpredictable a few years ago we were crying out for a player like him and when we get him we just complain.

Exactly, before we signed him and Ogre we were far too nice for as a side.Every side needs a player like Hame.

What we should do with Lauaki is take him out of the middle just like Mason plays for Rovers ..and let him run at the little men ..just let him have a few little runs then take him off for a rest ..jobs a good one

We did that last season but he never saw any ball! Again crap coaching and limited game plan from Agar. A better coach would have him striking fear into the opposition.

Hame needs a quota spot though so that will be the tricky decision, how to best use our quota spots.

Ogre and hopefully Moa will be two of the five. I can't see Phelps or Fitz getting new deals and Lauaki for me is 50/50.

I would also say at the moment Phelps is 50/50. I think it depends on what Fitz wants to do with his life as well. If he goes (I think he will) then I would keep one of Phelps / Lauaki. Depends who is available to sign, but we need a 6/7 as a priority

Who should our props be next season then?

I'd have said as a back rower we should allow Lauaki to leave at the end of the year, however as a prop i've changed my mind.

lauaki is just a less effective version of moa at prop. We can't carry them both IMO. I'd let him go and put either green or cunningham in the 1st team squad in his place

I think there's better player's out there , Whether Hull can attract them is another thing.

Luauki only worth keeping on a reduced contract in my opinion. The quota spots are massively valuable and to me, we could probably do better with the money we're paying him. Not sure who we could bring in, but that's down to Mr Agar and his staff anyway

I'd have thought that we should keep them both. Pretty good pair of impact props. With O'Meley and Fitz as the other 2 props with Radford as 5th choice and Aldous as 6th choice it looks pretty strong. We can concentrate on other areas of the team that way.
