It is the perfect opportunity to blood Chris Green, with Radders and O'Meley missing I hope we show a bit of faith in the lad. Looks almost a clone of Fitzy in the way he plays and with all due respect Wakey at home is the perfect game to have a look at him. I would certainly rather see him get some game time than we push someone like Tickle up front and re-jig everything around.

Yep, 6 weeks, 1 and a half centimetre tear in his plantar fascia(heel), 2 ligaments torn off, no surgery luckily. Bet he'd still play Friday if we'd let him, mind.

You'd think so wouldn't you? Although I'm sure there's enough scope for half a dozen positional changes to avoid this scenario. I wouldn't mind, but Fitz does more of a prop role then half our props anyway. I'm sure Westerman would relish the opportunity to start at LF.

Radford, Moa, Dowes and Fitz as the props for me but it won't happen, probably be Lauaki.

Dowes and Radford will start with Moa and Lauaki off the bench i reckon.Tickle,Westerman,and Fitz will continue as they are,with Manu and Obst the other bench players

I'd go with that for me Dowes offers more from the start than he does from the bench.

I'm not a Dowes fan but he is certainly better from the start than off the bench.

Nothing startling but he'll do a job for the team that's for sure, if nothing else he's reliable.

i've had a similar injury - plantar fasciaitis, its a common runners injury and this can take ages to heal properly, though you can play through it (once the ligament damage has healed). as anyone who has had it will know, taking your first step in the morning is like stepping onto a knife on the floor - pain goes reasonably quickly though.

I had the same , in the morning i could hardly walk down the stairs and needed injections in my feet to help it .Still have the pain from time to time but alot better after the injections .

i got told he could be out for 6 weeks, but like u say paul m i'd also be happy with just 4 weeks out

so we got out at the moment are
