Didn't stay - it would have been too painful to applaud after that display. I wanted to show my appreciation for the whole season, but just too disappointed.

Clearly 10,700 fans could not face staying in that stadium, I was one of them, had it been another team maybe we could have hung in, I am sure the club and players have a good idea how the fans felt and why.

I stayed, it hurt like buggery, but I still stayed. I felt Craig Hall and Peter Cusack deserved some kind of send off.

What made it worse was having to walk with a sea of dobbins over the footbridge, if I'd had left with the Majority of our fans I wouldn't have had to suffer the indignity of it.

I do sometimes wonder if we are the wonderful fans we think we are.

not taking the mickey but there was no where near a thousand left in the East at the end, a couple of hundred maybe.

I hate all this clapping the fans rubbish. All I want is the players to do is the business on the field; if they want to do something for the fans don't come with sychophantic applause; go help out at a local club with the juniors or attend junior member events as many do. I don't expect applause for following my team; I just expect them to display a semblance of the passion I have for the team when they actually pull on the jersey. As for staying to applaud departing players, they're proffessionals, they have been adequately renumerated for their time.

Like it as been said before the Kc is a community stadium that can be shared by all, unless your really stupid and dont want too.

There is no way the Council will build your stand for you, they face massive cuts and job losses. I can see it now police lose x amount of jobs but we spend millions on a new stand - get real.

You had your chance but I am glad you dobbins didn't want to share like spoilt kids because it wouldn't have been built where it is we would have had to accomodate you and build it near Kingswood.

Who cares how many stayed, we'd just been humiliated by our arch enemies in our first play-off game for three years. FWIW I left after the Welham try, why on earth would I want to sit through the last 2-3 minutes seeing you lot celebrate, and probably risk getting stuck in traffic for half an hour just for the sake of 'staying until the end'. And yeah we've improved on last season but it was far from a 'mega improvement', we got knocked out of the CC at the first hurdle and likewise in the play-offs, hardly anything to celebrate considering the squad we have. As for your pathetic dig at our support, we have finished the season with the 3rd highest average attendance in the league, and have yet again been one of the best supported sides on the road. So yeah your right, we are 'top fans' as it happens.

Perhaps it should be noted that around 300 Rovers "supporters" have deserted their club altogether this season whilst our average went up by over 500.

Excellent ownage there. Wonder if there'll be a graph reflecting that fact in Rovers corporate brochure next year, or one that just makes average attendances up to show a fictional improving trend again?
