I assume a lot of the gloom is attributed to our shocking effort against Wakey. Having seen Rovers concede an 120 aggregate against Saints and 2 nillings I think they are equally as capable of flattering to deceive and not turning up.

nobody thinks you are an immense team, far from it.

We'd be backing most teams to turn us over in our current state.

A lot of it will be down to the Wakey performance but you can also add in the performances before that as well were tried our best to throw away a 22-6 lead aginst Bradford and threw away a 18-6 lead against Hudds.
Rovers have a bit of form going into the game as well and a win against he champions last week will also add to a glum looking derby from our perspective. But I don't see a runaway victory happening and think it will be a poor scrappy game won by a dodgy referee decision or a bit of skill from one player.

I think it's time we all stopped predicting the worst and actually got behind the team we spend good money to watch. We had no chance against Warrington at home earlier in the season - we had a scratch team - they are far better than tomorrows opposition - but for 40 minutes we got behind the lads, they responded magnificently and in the end the final score flattered Warrington and the majority of supporters gave the lads a standing ovation at the hooter. Let's be positive, let's be the 18th man, and let's make a positive prediction.

I personally think this is down to your sides great kicking game at home and phenomenal kick chase, away sides tend to struggle to get a good kicking game going at Craven Park for some reason.

If it wasn't for the fact I cant seem to bet against my own team I would be lumping on a Rovers win. Thats not to say I think Rovers are a better team but look at the circumstances and the fact we are missing probably our 3 biggest earners for the game and I can only see one winner.

In form there is mate. After last weekends results and performances, and I know its the derby and all that, we should blow you away but this weather could be the deciding factor.

Blow us away, based on one win. I don't really get that tbh. Form is judged over a dozen games or so I would say not one. We have both had good wins and bad losses during that time and I would say we were about even. You might have slightly more confidence after beating Leeds.

I have to agree Paul, both sides are capable of winning if they play to their potential, the big issue is the ability to motivate the team, as said on another thread, we've scored 8 points in 4 second halves, that is poor form (even if you win the games), I fear for us tonight, we could be in for a humiliation on Sky (and I don't expect we'll be a delight to watch next week), there is no avoiding our injuries, and Horne's incredibly poor form all season, add that to Berrigan being totally inept and the loss of Ogre, Fitz and Long and I just cannot see a win, but I also can't see KR "blowing us away", unless Dobson has one of his nights, but the conditions seem to rule that out.

Going by mates of mine who are Hull fans they have not seen anything special over the past few weeks that would suggest you will win tonight whereas they have been very impressed with our performances (tv highlights only). Ok you've had 2 wins out of the last 3 but you have to look at the opposition you played.

As for confidence, I would think it would be a lot more than 'slighty'.
