Hull FC head coach Richard Agar has been forced into three changes for this weekend’s clash with Salford.

With Mark O’Meley facing three weeks on the sidelines with a calf tear, loanee Paul McShane returning to Leeds and Tom Briscoe on international duty, Agar’s selection problems have been eased by the return of two key players.

Shaun Berrigan (shoulder) and Epalahame Lauaki (calf) come back in, while youngster Danny Nicklas makes up the 19-man squad having made his senior debut against Wakefield back in April.

Burnett in to cover Meley, Berro in to replace Mcshane(although Hall took up that sub spot) and i assume Hall in to replace Briscoe.

Yes however Lyne was not helped with the abject performance from the rest of the squad. Had the rest of the team played better he could well have had a better game. We have seen Hall play ok at times due to our side being on top and very little pressure on him.

Very few options open to Agar on the wing though.

At last someone talking with some commonsense. Most people seem to think this one is in the bag. There is no room for complacency or we will all be going home very disappointed on Friday night.

I would go with that but i doubt it will happen.
As for taking Salford lightly, i doubt any of the supporters are, yes they will be confident of a win and rightly so. However we have all seen Salford beat us in the last couple of seasons so i doubt anyone will be putting their mortgage on a victory.

Well obviously I don't know who you've spoken to but this thread was 20+ posts old before anyone mentioned the possibility of losing the game.

it will be no easy task with 2 players as such out, of position on the wings.

didn't Nicklas play in a couple of different positions when we played Wakey. what were they (if anyone knows)? i'm not saying he'll be on the wing mind you. was just wondering really. i'm assuming him and Burnett will be left out as Hall will have to come in on the wing.

A tad harsh, he has had a few good games for us, but when it's a tight game he is the last player you want on the pitch.

Yep, he outperformed Whiting in two of those aspects as well.

i know they moved him to a couple of positions. i've only seen the guy once or twice but doesn't he look a bit big for someone whose supposed to be a SO? he looked it from where i was sitting anyway. TBH i think he'll be one of the ones to miss out. with O'Meley out they'll need both Radford and Cusack. i can't see them choosing Burnett over Lauaki either so it'll probably be those two out.
