i've been reluctant to join the 'agar out' debate but i think after yesterdays performance he has to go. that game was shameful and i think that we'll have another year with a slump towards the end. if we're lucky we might finish 8th but with performances like that i think thats doubtful. hull fc under agar will will nothing in my opinion and will never achieve their potential.

another thing: how can we have so many problems with injuries 3 seasons running (now that yeaman, radford, o'meley and tickle are out again)? no team is that unlucky with injuries that often. i know rugby league is a rough game but something must be being done wrong on what the coaches are telling the players if they're getting injured that often.

lets just see wot happens before he goes,he may turn things around and then he may not...the season is a marathon not a sprint.

But we have just gone out in the challenge cup at the first time of asking for the second time in two years. I thought we'd challenge yesterday, but that performance and that fact we were defensively inept has really put me on a downer. I haven't called for Agar's head thus far, but questioned the fact we gave him a two year extension before the season was out. I don't understand why he doesn't go with Moa. Whether it's personal, or whatever. All teams get injuries and they affect the results (look at Leeds). However, that doesn't mean the players who fill in have to perform like an Under 15s side. We've been very poor in some games this year and are doing a good job of cementing ourselves as a laughing stock

so why wasn't he a man of his word and walk at the end of last season when he proved how poor a coach he was from the season and a half he'd been in charge already.

I agree with those sentiments, I havent really been a fan of these constant Agar out threads and have been previously willing to give him a chance (another ) HOWEVER after yesterdays abysmal showing I think its time something is done whilst there is still a season left to salvage.

Now would be a perfect time to appoint a new coach imo. Its some sort of an unwritten rule in sport that appointing new coaches usually brings good short-term results at least, and with a period of 4-5 approaching that are all very winnable, I think making a move now would be ideal. If we were to bring a new coach in and we went on to win the next 4 games, we would be in a great position league wise and the disappointment of the challenge cup would be forgotten imo. Of course I know for a fact that this isnt going to happen, but it's just my opinion anyway. Agar is totally inept as a coach, his tactics are dire, his ability to motivate the players is questionnable to put it politely, and his attitude is far too defeatist for my liking, GET RID!
