Good to have the option of a pint whilst watching the game but hopefully people don't abuse the new rule by getting up and down to go to the bar. I think it makes sense to have the cut off point in the second half.

I have a notoriously weak bladder. I'd miss about two thirds of the game if I resorted to drinking in my seat. Which is kinda my worry about others being allowed to do it. If they're not pushing past to get another ale, they'll be pushing past to go for a wee.

I have had the same aisle seat for a few years now for this reason !

Unfortunately, not everyone who is up and down all game is able to obtain an aisle seat. There were three old boys sat inside of me at the Rovers game who kept taking it in turns to get up and deposit a thimble full of urine in the toilet before returning and passing the baton to the next in line. I hope they don't have season tickets.

I feel for the stewards having to police different sets of rules at Rugby on a Friday and then Football on a Saturday, I just don't get it, if it was a decent pint of real ale and some half decent pastie then maybe, but it's swill and awful pies!

If people cannot manage two lots of 40 minutes without a pint then they need some help, it's as simple as that, all it ends up with is everyone getting covered in beer and having the game interupted.

Just my opinion, nothing personal to anyone, and I hope it isn't taken that way.
