Are you losing any props beside O'Meley? Even using Watts and Pitts as mainly loose forwards, that still leaves Lynch, Paea, Johnson, Green and Bowden. Plus the elder Tyson-Wilson. Depth is great, but with Galea and Tickle off, you'd want a second rower first, no?

The problem isn't so much numbers as quality. Say the average 17 includes 4 props, 3 second rowers and a loose forward/prop. We have 3 good second rowers, and Pitts/Watts for LF. What we don't have is 4 other good quality, consistent props, and in particular we don't have enough with enough size/aggression. We could do with a second rower to provide depth, but we need a prop who will come in as first choice.

Benji is dreamworld. Would be a great shame if he went to Yawnion.

Then he was back in the side, scored a try, got injured and re-emerged for South Wales yesterday.

The fact is he's way down the pecking order at Wigan and it stands out a mile. I reckon he'll be available if the right offer comes in.

Reckon with the props they're losing, Taylor would stay at least one more year.

They signed a kid from the championship aswell . Knowing wigans youth set up there is probably a string of young forwards ready to break through i'd imagine

Taylor will be at Wigan next year without doubt IMO. He had a great game for us at Widnes recently then picked up an injury in training that he's just made a comeback from for South Wales.

We're losing Mossop and Prescott from the front row and Tuson from the backrow so I don't think we'll be in a rush to move anyone else on.

I don't understand this sudden obsession with Kirmond, granted he's a trier but he benefits massively from the threat of Collis who is by far Wakeys best player (IMO obviously). I think we have 5 players signed on who can do a job in the back row next season, (Westerman/Whiting/Pitts/Ellis/Hadley) why do we need another?
