As I've already said, this is the one part of last night that disappointed me. The quite understandable moral outrage got a little out of hand and could have been directed better. I primarily blame the other panelists and Dimbleby TBH.

I watched it last night and conclude that the only reason he came across as a complete tit is not because it was a pre-planned ambush, but because he IS a complete tit! When he started to try to explian the policy on race he was shot down at every turn, not because it was biased but because it is a silly policy and when debated will always look silly.

The fact he was on the show is a demonstration of the freedom our country has, sometimes that freedom is hard or unpleasant.

Who has the right to choose who should and who should not speak?

Democracy is the worst form of government, except for the other forms that have already been tried.

Hopefully it will have opened the potential Protest Voter to re think who they should vote for in protest

It seems like this forum is just as good as last night's QT. Lots of people jumping on the "let's all slag the BNP" bandwagon.

Last night's programme was a joke and wasn't helped by the usual impartial chair being not so impartial.

Nick Griffin is an intelligent man with a lot of common sense views which strike a chord with many people. It just seems like most people think it's easier or more politically correct to extremely oppose those views.

In general, he was treat very poorly last night and the biggest loss was QT's respect as an impartial political programme,

I was initially against the BBC giving this nazi party any airtime at all but to be fair, anyone who for whatever reasons have voted BNP in the past, must have seen through Griffin as he lied and bumbled his way through the show. His debating skills were shown up as a sham and his nervous answers when asked about his past beliefs blantantly shone through.

Our country has been filled with foreign scroungers and religious freaks who, on the whole, detest us and everything for which we stand but they like our standard of living and our handouts.

Questions about the problems we face going into an election would have had him floundering.
The one question on everyones lips about immigration was bombed by the lot. Jack Straw was going great guns and then a question about current problems killed him.
Now Griffen has complained and offered a one on one debate with Labour and the Cons. They wont accept and so some people will assume he's right.

As was pointed out last night, not everyone who agrees with their stance on immigration is a racist, and some would do well to remember this.
It would be interesting to see peoples reaction if a party that wasn't awash with racist history proposed the same plan.
I actually agreed with him that people who choose to live in our country should respect our way of life and follow our laws. I would never vote for them though because of their racist undertone.

Question Time is exactly what is says it is - it is 'Question Time' and if somebody wants to sit on the panel then good luck to them ... It was impartial given the fact that people (the vast majority of the population of the UK) in the audience wanted to to ask questions and challenge views - that is Democracy at it's best...!!!

For me personally it has nothing to do with Political Correctness to challenge his views... more like Common Decency and that fortunately for many people is what really counts.
