I had a cracking day, before during and after. After the game was out with FC and Rovers fans and we had a superb time, rugby was hardly mentioned all day tbh.

Burnsy is just poor fullstop, I listened to him commentating on City the other week and it was awful, he constantly went on about anything but the game and seems to think he is some kind of personality.

I used to like to listen to Sportstalk but have now lost all respect for RH.

What about Marlon King he waits 3 months before discussing it! (probally after he received the ok from brown/duffin.

I hope City do go down, i'm fed up of reading and hearing about them

Stopped listening to their rubbish a long time ago, I find KCFM a much better discussion platfrom for sports fans, where you can have an intelligent sports talk and not the pantomine you get on RH.
They on RH have the audacity to call the programme "Sportstalk"when all the rubbish we get is talk about themselves about stupd things like Gwyllums bald head or fat stomach, how many pies have they had that week, and many other ramblings that are only connected to their personal life.
Do what i and a lot of other FC fans have done switch them off, write to the BBC and invite them to listen to this rubbish.

And interestingly, KCFM still give HKR decent coverage. On the day they beat Saints I hardly heard FC mentioned on the way home from the match. It annoyed me on the day because I wanted to bask in the glory of KC's victory but it was a big story.

Instead of moaning, why don't people just turn off? I used to come home and stick the radio on after every home game. Also used to make sure it was on in the car after any game if I was going home in one. Now I don't bother. If people stopped listening, stopped moaning about it etc then ratings would go down, the show wouldn't create a reaction and I doubt people like Burns would be on the show anymore. It's not as if you are going to miss much as it sounds like the show is rubbish

Radio Humberside's idea of reporting is descending into downright sensationalism and they feel the need to court controversy rather than deal in plain facts.

Although it needed addressing, they instigated the witchhunts against John Kear & Peter Sharp and played a huge part in the Cooke affair. How long before they are on Agar's back?

Funny how Dean felt compelled to stress how today was always going to be Burn's day off, as if things were afoot behind the scenes?

If he did suggest Hull run out to the aforementioned song, then I can imagine this to be the sort of thing Rule would take seriously, PARTICULARY in view of the new campaign.

Well said. Thought the general atmosphere was superb on Friday. The mingling of the fans before & after made me proud to be a RL fan.
As for D. Burns - A wannabee shock jock. Not even got the intelligence for that though.

Good move by your club not talking to the media again, leaving you all in the dark, like Crocker not coming , but to paper over the cracks they sign Reardon, hoping to distract the fans, and what about Larrkymalarky or whatever he is called, again silence from your club, but hey ho they got you "Fat Sam"
