they went to Aus last year, missed out on Dobson but signed the biggest signing for superleague this year, every single club in the league would have made him an offer and every single club would have had to wait this long for a Visa and every single club would have still received the same rejection.

I would say we need two players tbh. One real top signing to play 6/7 and then either a fullback or a centre depending on who we retain for 2010. We have the quota space and we have the money so we must deliver.

That said in the last two season the club have delivered on the big name front, we got Berrigan and then Crocker, it't not the club's fault Crocker never came and as to the cost, I would say it's fairly minimal and should be of no concern to the fans to be quite honest.

One things for sure we need quality and we need players who are skilled in one position, if Cusack does not get a new contract we have 3 overseas positions to fill, a scrum half and a right side centre are an absolute must and the possibility of a full back depending on what happens with Motu Tony.

We have gone down the line of signing utility players in the past and it hasn`t worked, we need to sign players who are skilled in the postion they play.

I thought it was all about buying into the experience nowadays.

So far as I can work out there'll be a payment of £360 by the club to the UKBA. £190 for the first work permit (first application) and £170 for the certificate of sponsorship (second application). The cost of the sponsor licence doesn't just apply to Crocker's case so we can't include that.
