Hodgson development of Hull FC coming along nicely. Bringing pace and youngsters into the team. Long term going in the right direction.

I'd have Smith on the bench. He can spell at hooker and cover 1, 3, 4, and 6 in case of injury.

I think Walker will go back to Leeds when Connors fit.

I want Connor at loose man to roam around and do his devastation, teams can’t defend against that, he’s big enough to look after himself in up front defence, not at fullback.

If he had to defend in the middle then props would pick him out and target him. I'm not sure how long he would survive that.

I agree he needs to be able to attack on both side of the pitch. I think we'd have to play him in the halves and write a new chapter in the playbook.

Just don't play with split halves

I still think connor's best position is FB. It plays to his strengths and protects him from his weaknesses. If I was to play him anywhere else it'd be in the halves. I don't see him as a 13 personally and just think a player of his ability would be somewhat wasted at centre

Maybe it's too simple a solution? Jake basically does it now from full back. If he's moved to the halves, just give him the same free reign

I'm hoping that's what we do. His partner will have to react to him and make sure he is positioned correctly so the other players don't get confused. That'll be tough if he ever has to partner a youngster but should work with Hoy or Trueman.
