Predominatly City fans at my work, and I was fighting a one man crusade re Allam and his intentions. He hoodwinked he vast majority of them. Shame but pleased he can now be seen for the greedy charlatan he is.

Just had a browse of some City forums. Is Allam as altruistic as declared given this?

Oh dear - didn't realise Hull City's bail-out was a loan as well as Rovers'. Sounds like the same "soft" loan terms were employed in each case. Let's hope he's feeling more ambivalent to Rovers than he appears to be to City at the moment.

I'd feel better if that article is true. I don't trust Allam, and it worries me that our owner is an employee of his.

Well many on here knew exactly what their motives were from early days rememeber their I wouldn't support one RugbY Club as it would not be fair on the other? lets face it when their plan to have the Councril donate them the Stadium so they could use it to speculate fell through they weren't staying long, as soon as Pearson bought our Club the toys came out of the pram again and the re negotiating of our contract talks were stopped.

If the guy who seemed to know what he was saying on Humberside about Allam being about to buy Rovers off Hudge was right I'd be very affraid myself if I was a Dobbins fan. I once got a bit of abuse on here for describing the owners of City as Looney Tunes but nothing I have seen since hads made me change my mind. Adam Pearson might be a lot of things but for me he is a man of great integrity and if he has walked it willl be on a matter of principle.

I agree and I know I should have faith in them building a team but recruitment is starting to worry me a little if these are the type of players were looking to bring in.

Quite glad in all honesty, the overseas market is dead.

I would say that in key positions of half and full back their isn't that much uk talent at all.

the bulls will have either nas manuafokosa (or whatever it is) or sammut available after this year. both have been good and play in positions you want to strengthen.

I heard that you were looking at finch around 6 weeks ago when it looked unlikely wigan would resign him. His form has picked so wigan may try hang on, but Ive heard you will be able to offer more. Would be a cracking signing for you boys

I'd have Manuafokosa, would go no were near Sammut though.

Not sure about Johnson for O Meley though.
