To me this denial by Pearson could easily be him protecting himself from a legal position. If he at all suggests Agar's position is in doubt then a payout for constructive dismissal would be winging its way to RA.

I would like Noble involved in the club in some capacity, I think he is too experienced to turn away if we are recruiting and his track record for improving every club he has been at is there for all to see in black and white.

Why not bring him into the club as DOR immediatley, although this would then clearly show the writing is on the wall for Agar.
