I think he'd be ok tbh. Think the positives would outweigh the negatives. The other option is to play him at 13 but washbrook is far superior in that spot.

totally agree said before that whiting has a good rugby brain which makes up for his lack of pace and i would like to see him in the middle of the park.

I totally agree , but Atkins would be a good signing for us . Yeaman scored 20 + not so long ago from a one pass cooke.

Are we still talking to R Moore from Wakey ?? Having watched him last night, I don't think it would be a good signing as it is very clear that he has lost so much weight and doesn't really have either the impact or go-forward that he had last season.

I don't know enough about Turner, Rooney would be an uninspiring and perhaps a confusing signing, Atkins would be fantastic and Moore would be worrying.

Hard to imagine anymore "big" signings for next year now with the quota appearing to be full and the obvious salary cap that has already been allotted. Unless anyone "knows" any different ???

This is what i thought!! but blunderside last night said we had 1 more space left for next season, which granted may possibly be used for Moa, but that would allow us one more overseas player. But other then that september is for other announcements i believe !!!

They're wrong, unless one of our overseas players is leaving and it hasn't been announced yet. Or maybe they've misinterpreted the Gene Rule and think that Manu won't count? Or forgotten that the places drop from 7 to 6?

Anyway - our overseas places for next season are all full as things stand.

The 6 for next season are Cusack, Berrigan, O`Meley, Fitzgibbon, Lauaki & Manu, so as far as i see it our quota is full for next year.

IF we were signing either Rooney or Cooke who would people rather see here next season as agar has already said he wants another half back.

Cant see the attraction of Atkins....he doesnt pass to his winger either......We have got 2 bloody good young centres....Hall and Briscoe.....i personally would use Hall or R.Horne in centre with Briscoe providing cover.

Rule stated on the radio, that good centres are now a rare commodity in the game.

With the quota decreasing year by year, it makes sense to give Hall and Briscoe, a run in the centres.

Its a pity,we dont have a coach who can maximise their potential.
