Never going to happen.
You might want some vinegar with those chips, also.

The £90k is apparently PAYE from last month. Odd that the incoming BOD didn't get on top of that right away.

| the money for the stadium went towards paying the RFL the money they'd borrowed from them in a loan! but by selling the ground they no longer had collateral for the bank loan they had taken out with the ground as security! all a bit fishy if you ask me...not that any one has!

The bank loan collateral thing is nonsense - just an unfounded rumour that did the rounds months ago.

£90k a month would give a wage bill at around £5.5 mill

Why cant they? Super league will go on with or without Bradford, just like it will with any other club. They should be dumped out of Super league just like Wakefield and Crusaders should have been. If they get to stay in it makes a mockery of the franchise system itself, imagine how fans of teams like Leigh, Halifax etc feel when a club goes into administration yet still gets to keep super league status.
Letting clubs stay after going into administration sends the wrong message out to all the other teams. If a team is removed others will then fight tooth and nail not to get themselves into a financial mess.

True, although I'm not sure if NICs are included in that. Someone else has suggested this morning that it's from the last 2.5 months which would seem more reasonable.

Quite. I'm not really understanding the level of bitterness some folk seem to have towards the Bulls. Seems rather petty and vindictive TBH.

Because their a well supported club with a good youth structure.
What they need is to be run better, as do the majority of clubs.

Which would serve them well in the championship.
Just a points deduction is no punishment within a franchise system is no punishment at all, it just says no matter what trouble you get yourself into you are safe because you are in the top tier of rugby. Bradford are not going to be challenging for honours next year, and finishing bottom of the league will not get them relegated either. They are that well supported they had to offer the "pledge" system to get fans back through the gates the last two seasons.
What happens in another couple of years when the franchises are up again and another team gets replaced yet Bradford stay, how do you think the other team would feel about that? Say if that other team was Salford, and they have spent well below the salary cap so they can stay afloat financially, yet poor performances and crowds etc result in them dropping out to be replaced by another team. Would that be fair on Salford?

How many Championship clubs can afford to run a good youth system?
The Bulls won't be ejected from SL because there is no mechanism to do so. Administration is no longer an automatic loss of license (see Wakey) so it would be up to the RFL and SL clubs to use their discretion. There will be way too much 'there but for the grace of God' for the other clubs to stick the boot in.
They'll receive a sanction in line with the current rules, and like it or not that basically means a points deduction.

Bradford obviously cannot.
I know that is what will happen, just don't agree with it.

They'd be even less able to in the Championship. Which was my point.
The loss of licence ruling was revoked at a meeting between the clubs and the RFL. My guess would be that a significant number of clubs are in the mire and so the rule was removed to protect their collective backsides.
The RFL takes a lot of flak for this kind of thing but at the end of the day the SL club chairmen make the rules. Turkeys are not well known for voting for Christmas.

| Although I understand the points raised and agree with them to some extent what I find more concerning about all of this is that RL in general seems to be bankrupt. Even `big clubs` are struggling & without a wealthy owner its just not viable anymore.
& a lot of fans would agree that as long as the club survives whatever punishment is given would be taken on the chin.
Im just hoping it isnt a sign of things to come for other clubs too.. 3 in 2 seasons isnt good.

I like JTP ! Bulls fiddled whatever they won (£+cap) - FACT, and I don't like sponge fingers.
