Well, I don't live in Hull and don't have a season pass because I can't get to many games. Is Adam saying that I can go and shove it? Is Adam saying that unless you have a season pass, you aren't a proper fan and we'll treat you differently?

That's what it sounds like. I'm all for passholders getting extra benefits, but this comment seems to suggest that the club have stopped giving a stuff about non-passholders. That'll attract loads of new fans next season. Disappointing.

I can understand how you might read it that way, hadn't thought about it like that. AP need to keep his trap closed and let the players do their talking on the pitch.

Can understand why you'd feel that way, but I think its just 'paper talk' to shift some passes and not some deeper agenda.

AP knows that the club shot itself in the foot last year with the cheap tickets (which didn't significantly lift crowds) and that the fanbase is mainly apprehensive about how we will far under Radford, or completely disillusioned with the club, and that he has to make a few 'crowd pleasing' statements to get those passes sold.

I don't read it like that at all - he doesn't mention where people live - just says that being a passholder makes you part of it. Pearson's trying to create a seige mentality and is challenging if you're in or out. Great stuff.

Obviously pass holders are more important to AP because once your pass is paid for he wont be bothered if you actually go threw the turnstiles, but hes got your money all year, were as if you pay on the gate you might hand pick your games, either threw lack of funds/work commitments/holidays etc. so hes going to favour or spin the yarns to fans thinking of renewing passes, its a business to him.
