If we dont win then not only can we forget top 4 but will do well to make top 8.

As I've said on another thread the lack of confidence shocks me on here, we are pretty good at home, still have a decent team out especially the forwards and the wingers, add to this we are playing an equally poor team, whom every time I've seen them have looked average.

Still a 50/50 game for me.

Id put whiting on him and have Horne defending at FB.

Who would have predicted that? and about as scientific as a prediction I usually make come Derby day.

1) Am I confident? No
2) Can I see how we can win without SMcD and DH? No
3) Am I looking forward to it? Hmm, er, maybe (note - this will change to "yes" after a couple down Prinny tomorrow)
4) Would I ever not go? (apart from in exceptional circumstances)? No
5) Will it be a stage for an unlikely victory against the odds? Definitely possible!

Agree, looking at the squad we have all 1-17 will need to put in one massive performance to get a result! just cant see where our points are guuna come from even with rovers terrible defense.

i see your point but we have scored points at home this year against better teams we scored 18 against London in awful conditions with the team we are going to be playing tomorrow and i think London are better then rovers in defense and we are much better then cas who put 20+ past them so i still think we are favorites and should be winning tomorrow with the team we have out. i am 90% confident if we turn up we will win comfortably but we need a 80 minute performance from 1-17 and to let the ball go and attack them. i cant wait this is what we love rugby league for COYH

I try to be positive but one kick in the teeth after another at the moment and looking at the possible starting line ups for tomorrow its hard to see where the points will come from. The fellas taking the pitch tomorrow will need to find a pace/tempo and accuracy in attack that so far this season they have been unable achieve.

Thats the problem though, when was the last time we 'turned up' and put in an 80min performance?

Irrelevant. We scored 52 points and conceded none. You don't do that without being switched on for the full 80, not even against a side playing badly.

If the two squads remain the same i would be blinkered if I didnt expect rovers to win and win comfortably.
You will score against our defence dont get me wrong but if we have a word with ourselves expect us to post 30+.

Hoping this will be the catalyst for us to start playing at the tempo required for this competition. Sure we don't have any play makers (according to current squad) but we can take these at home if to a man we play 100% to form. Sick of hearing about KR's points scoring - they have had a far easier start to their fixtures than us. What we need is some purpose, desire and speed and a simple game plan. They have conceded points against the weaker teams in the comp and the fact that they fancy it should be enough to motivate our lads. Should have been 3 from 3 last year but for Ganson - time to carry on that momentum.
