Every year the same is said about whiting yet he always plays 20 plus games unless he is injured, if Manu stays then aspinwall will have to go IMO, I really like whining o stay, but the Manu deal may effect hs contract offer and he may have to look elsewhere. |

why cant we move whiting to centre.. (if turner goes) and that would solve our centre spot. i think he's good at defending, yes may lack the pace but has a good rugby mind

He could act as cover if we get injuries but I think Turner's future lies in the centres.
If Manu does go we would be left with Ellis, Tickle, Westerman, Whiting and Kent for the back row. |

Yeah, I think that it's a strong line-up. Manu would be a loss, yes, but it would give a better squad balance if his money (and by the sounds of it he is wanting big) was spent on other areas of the squad, such as prop or centre. |

I'm not bothered one bit. I think he's improved slightly in the last few games but I believe throughout this season there will be more threads on this board after games about his defensive weaknesses, I'm still to be convinced he's anything other than an average player.
