what you are finding very quickly is that this forum is a forum of opinions and points of view which is great until your opinion or point of view varies with the long term posters , not all i may add as many are pleased to see new names and opinions but there are some that will slag you off, others that will join in with them as if on speed dial , many know each other on first name terms and others who know everything about the club but only watch them twice a season so as a new poster your up against it however the vast majority are decent folk who simply love the club through thick and thin however if you scruitinise the threads you will see a pattern forms of the same names / posters who gang up together and the same posters who will attack everything you say regardless of wether it is relevant or not, worth watching for its quite amusing.
There are others on one hand who use sarcasm and open abuse to counter your comments but then acuse you of being hostile if you do it back to them, many double standards but like i say most are decent folk on here as you will find just ignore the planks and lovers and dont get drawn into their arguments.

I think what many people are missing is that our new friend is displaying an extraordinary number of signs that he is a well practised troll. His recent reference to PMs was yet another classic troll tactic on the road to reeling people in. Of course it could all be entirely coincidence...

On the positive side, I'm branching out in my technical skills and have found the foe function, which despite 5 years, 12000 posts and thousands of hours on here and the Rovers board, I've never felt the need for before.

I was thinking that myself, but hate to miss out on things!!

1) It wasn't condoned, I've already expressed my opinion that the exact words posted weren't racist.

2) The moderators (and think I speak for all of them) don't set an agenda, if they did then presumably the likes of Standee, Jake & Yourself (and others) would have had threads deleted and been banned off a long time ago, the fact that you/they haven't been suggests your point of view is flawed. Just because some mods express opinions that are contrary to yours that doesn't automatically make their view the only one that can be held.

3) Certifiable dimtwits of all persuasions are tolerated, because, guess what, we don't set an agenda (see point 2)

What exactly do you think you'll be missing out on? Agar/Rule/the Board/Houghton/Berrigan/Lyne/other posters are pants, delete as appropriate according to thread title. Or Rovers are "top dogs", despite finishing behind us in the league table

Erm, think you'll find it was your club that bigged up the play-off game as if it was the game to end all games. Therefore by winning it very comfortably I would say that does make us top dogs.
