I never blamed Whiting for the tries though

I quite simply said I dont think Hall would have done any worse than Whiting. Whiting was clearly at fault for the first meli try (which I actually think Craig [icould[/i (not definately) have done better. As a try was scored from that mistake Craig could not have done worse in that situation could he?. And if as you say Rich was left out to dry for the others then Craig again could not have performed any worse in those situations as a try was scored each time. So my statement is pretty much on the mark.

I'm a huge Whiting fan but personally think we are wasting him out on the wing, Whiting will give 100% no matter where he is asked to play but I think we could do better with him in the back row or at centre.

Sooner of later having Whiting on the wing will cost us IMO.

But if we had a faster player on the wing , would he have got closer to tackling Meli then Whiting did ?

Whiting is playing well and doesn't deserve to be out the team but that doesn't mean play him anywhere. Its like saying Moa has played well that we can't drop him so when O meley is back we'll play him on the wing because he doesn't deserve to be dropped.

So where do you put whiting, centre? Turners playing very well.
Back row? Probably the strongest part of our side.

I doubt it, but even if he did, I dont think that Hall would have been able to stop Meli at full speed (this isnt a dig at rich, as Meli is very hard to stop one one one at pace).

It's called the internet, I have seen the trys on the SLTV and HullFCTV a few times.

I would suggest you watch the trys again, Whiting was only at fault for the first one.

If he had stuck with meli, all Saints would have done is passed it to the centre who had a clear run to the line.

Think people are getting abit carried away with Hall's performance against Salford, a few weeks ago some would never had played him again.

Saying that I would like to see Hall in the team but not at the expense of Whiting, Washbrook would be the player I would drop and shuffle the team around abit.
