I'd agree with that, and if Hall is going to play FB it will need to be a right centre.

I'd go for a young utility back to cover all positions, especially FB if we only have Hall fit to play there.

Halley looked really good too at Wakey. Cant understand why he isnt playing 1st team at Bulls TBH.

G Horne and Whiting aren't centres. Briscoe is young and I'd like to avoid burnout. Plus I haven't actually seen much of him at right centre.


I'd be tempted to go for both so that we don't have a makeshift right centre.

Agree we need to look after Briscoe, i just think he is too good to leave out though.

we have allegedly made a tentative enquiry about the availability of stuart reardon from the wolves. We enquired about his fitness and availability. Byrne has agreed a settlement and will leave for australia shortly. I think but aint too sure that only a percentage of the settlement applies to the cap.

And me when fit,problem is that isn't very often.

He is a good player but has been inconistent in the last two years, however that is probably down to the injuries he's had.

Where would he play though? I'd rather us use Briscoe as centre/wing back up/rotation and give Hall a chance at full back. Not saying I wouldn't welcome Reardon, good player who has achieved a lot in his career, but not exactly sure where he'd play.

Cannot see him wanting to leave a team that will be challenging for silverware yet again!

Awful at fullback. Not bad on the wing and maybe even centre but we have decent options on the wing anyway I feel. Plus he has an injury record that doesn't help his cause.

I'd rather we went after somebody else to be honest.

I remember Cooke bombing him a few times and the nearest he got to any of them was about 10 metres away.
