It's not just us, Arthur morgue is out for 3 months for Catalan and Reagan Grace is missing the first 3 months of the season, but the amount we've got is a worry! Guessing our pack for Wakey (providing no further injuries) will be Sao, Houghton, Satae, lovodua, savellio, lane, then on the bench Bowden, Brown, Fash And Johnstone?

I'd keep Lovodua is the middle and move Lane to 2nd row. That way Houghton and Lovodua can switch easily. Think Hodgson will go with Scott over JJ, he likes a back on the bench and Scott can cover backrow too.

If Lovuda doesn't play at hooker we haven't learnt anything from last season.

If we had everyone fit I'd say he'd be at hooker but just thinking if we're short in second row with cator and mau out then maybe Brett will spell him there? They do seem to be bigging up Severs too, wonder if he'll get a game?

I'd rather have Johnstone at 13, although personally I rather play a young kid than him

I agree leave out Ligi till round one.If he gets injured we are really screwed
Bowden fit for round one looks ok on paper but on the field he is a waste of space
Even if Satae is fit we are still looking at a poor front row with Bowden or Brown and Fash the same as most of last season
Johnstone should be nowhere near the first team and whilst i would like to see Lovodua at nine, given the injury list then Houghton is likely to start with Lovodua on the bench.
Griffin will have to play in the second row as we can cover centre with Scott.

He's in the first team squad.

I can cope with Satae, Fash, Brown and Sao for the first few games, our big issue was creating chances hopefully with Gale and Lovodua that will improve.

Why is it always the forwards who get injured Do Hull need to tweak their training methods It seems to be leg related injuries ?

Nobody think the conditioning team need to go? Seem to always get more then our fair share of injuries these days, 16/17 was the last year's I remember us not being hammered by injuries

It's rugby not tiddly winks. A lot of teams have runs of injuries. Rovers are getting them now. Not as bad but still injuries. Hopefully this is our bad run.

Yeah injuries is part of the sport but my point is we seem to suffer more then most, in essence we should have good/bad seasons in regards to injuries, however we just seem to be constant injury hit

Rovers have 8 out ATM. Other teams have injury problems to. But we do seem to be having a run of injuries which some are just unlucky. Mau did his doing a few extra gym exercises. You would hope the conditioning team have more knowledge of injury prevention than some of us whos idea of a training run is putting the crisps down to go for a lol

I'm not sure that's true. People are more aware of their own team's injuries but generally speaking I imagine we are no worse off than average.

I am maybe reading into the team selection a bit but it looks like we’re going to play a settled back line. But surprised there’s no room in the squad for Mitch is he injured as he must be above some of the other French players in the pecking order
