The usual pinch of salt is to be applied, but even if Raynor was to go, would it be so bad? I'd rather he stay, but on saying that he's certainly one of the more expendable of our established players. ATEOTD, he's in the twilight of his career, who knows how long his pace has left, and he's likely one of our bigger earners.

I'm in a minority, but I still rate him highly. I'd accept him going as he's at the end of his career and did very well to come back at all from the toe injury but it would be silly to replace our most experienced and proven outside back by yet another forward.

So LMS is the new rumour doing the rounds ??

If LMS were to come part way into the 2010 season, surely another forward would be going the other way ??

I rate LMS very highly and would love to see him here but the signing of yet another forward to add to our already very strong pack wouldn't make a lot of sense to me.

Thats why i think it will happen in 2011 when some of our forwards are ooc.

Most people I speak to don't seem to realise the seriousness of the situation he's got himself into. In fact, a lot don't seem to be aware that there is a situation at all. It was a minor splash in the news a year ago, and I think most people think it's just all blown over.

When they are brought up to date most are horrified at the prospect of losing Raynor. I still think that he's the best British winger and am fuming with him really that he could blow it all on something so needless.

Calders and Briscoe are up there too, for me, but sooner or later Briscoe will be needed elsewhere. So I agree if Raynor goes he MUST be replaced with another winger/back.
